Working in the XXIst century:Skype for business

This month we recommend: Skype for business

It's great to have Skype in your Iphone, your tablet, your lap-top... Only inconvenience is that if you have everything on, and somebody calls you, the 3 devices ring at the same time. I've been using Skype for both personal and professional calls (most of them with video) since it exists. And I think most people in the IT industry or working in multinationals, have used Skype for at least 7 years now.

Now the Skype for business approach is arriving to all industries. You do not need expensive software to do a video conference. Just Skype. To do an online presentation, you use Skype. To include people in external office in live meetings, you use Skype. To text your work colleagues in the office to follow up on daily shores, you use Skype. To do online executive coaching, I use Skype too.

Downloading standard Skype takes a few minutes, then you can use regular features. Skype for business provides companies and individuals with a set of special features. In standard Skype version you can only share a call with two other users. With the business account you can do an online conference for a 100 people in different places all over the world, if you want. It's very cheap (1.5 Euros per user/month) and easy to sync with Outlook calendar.

Want to learn how to implement Skype in your organization? Or you need a special coaching session to learn how to optimize its use on a daily basis?
